Behind the ink

An old-school soul.
A world of my own.

I'm Anthony Carranza, an illustrator inspired by vintage comic books and pulp fiction. My work blends bold inks, retro textures, and dramatic imagery with a love of horror and science fiction, celebrating my Chicano culture and Americana.

Pulp Americana is my illustration project reimagining the world of pulp fiction and vintage comics. Through bold artwork and imagined covers, I bring together monsters, masked wrestlers, lowriders, and outsiders in a world of horror, fantasy, and humor—creating characters and scenes that feel familiar, strange, and distinctly my own.

Yes. Commissions and collaborations are welcome — posters, album art, private pieces, or something a little stranger. Send the idea, the size you have in mind, and when you need it, and the details get worked out from there.
